I have always loved Asian art, and along with the art, I love Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging.) My studies in the Sogetsu School of Ikebana piqued a strong interest in ceramic Ikebana containers. My pottery often reflects the influence of Ikebana's strong lines and aesthetics.
